Ad network requirements in 2026
Premium display ad networks only accept sites that meet minimum standards for traffic, audience and age. Those standards changed a lot over 2025 and 2026: Raptive cut its minimum to 25,000 pageviews, Mediavine replaced its 50,000-session rule with a $5,000 revenue requirement, and Ezoic moved in the opposite direction with a 250,000-user minimum for new sites. The checker uses the current published requirements (last checked October 2026).
| Network | Traffic or revenue | Audience | Domain age |

| Journey by Mediavine | 1,000 sessions from tier-1 countries in 30 days | Counts tier-1 sessions only | — |
| Ezoic | 250,000+ monthly active users (new sites since Feb 19, 2026) | — | — |
| Monumetric | 10,000 monthly pageviews (Propel program) | — | — |
| SHE Media | 50,000+ monthly pageviews and at least 30% US traffic | 30%+ US | — |
| Raptive | 25,000 monthly pageviews, domain 6+ months old | 50%+ tier-1 (40% above 100,000 pageviews) | 6+ months |

How to read your results
- You qualify means you meet every published requirement we can check. You can apply, but approval is not guaranteed.
- Close means you have at least 60% of every requirement you are missing. That is a good network to plan for.
- Not yet means at least one requirement is still far away.
- Open to all means there is no traffic minimum, as with Google AdSense.
Pageviews, sessions and users: which number counts?
Networks measure traffic differently, so read your analytics carefully:
- Pageviews (Raptive, Monumetric, SHE Media, Playwire, Freestar) count every page loaded. In Google Analytics 4 this is Views.
- Sessions (Journey by Mediavine) count visits. Journey only counts sessions from the US, Canada, the UK and Australia.
- Monthly active users (Ezoic) count unique people. A site with 250,000 users typically has well over 300,000 sessions.
- Annual ad revenue (Mediavine) is measured in dollars, not traffic. A site with high-value readers can qualify with much less traffic than a site with low-value readers.
If you leave sessions or users empty, the checker estimates them from pageviews (1.5 pages per session, and 80% of sessions as users). Enter your real numbers for an exact check.
What networks check beyond the numbers
- Original, helpful content. AI-spun, scraped or thin content is a common reason for rejection.
- Clean traffic. Paid, incentivised or bot traffic disqualifies a site. Most networks want mainly organic search, social and direct traffic.
- Good standing with Google. Mediavine, for example, requires good standing with AdSense and Ad Exchange.
- Site quality. A fast, mobile-friendly site with long-form content and room for ads makes approval easier.
